Georgia Aquarium
Senior Environmental Educator: August 2016- March 2017
 Coordinate all on and off-site school programs/field trip logistics, including operational logistics,
curriculum design/implementation, staff and volunteer training, and program evaluation, while
leading a team of educators.
 Develop and lead interdisciplinary learning experiences (STEAM) and partnerships, while
growing other programs including but not limited to school programs, outreach, homeschool
programming, Camp H2O, science nights, professional development events, and festivals like
Field Trip Days Sponsored by Google- which in 2016 served 3,600 students from Title I schools in
17 Georgia counties.
 Support the Aquariums Sponsored Education Admission (SEA) Program, which provided free or
reduced admission to over 56,000 students in 2016, by presenting world class curriculum and
behind the scenes experiences.
 Innovate new programming and collaborate on the development of curriculum and exhibits,
while leading an internal team of educators in pedagogy, modeling best teaching practices.
Cincinnati Museum Center
School Programs Coordinator: February 2016-August 2016
 Coordinator of school programming, including operational logistics, curriculum
design/implementation, staff and volunteer training, and program evaluation.
 Implemented and taught school standards-based curriculum for science, social studies and early
childhood Learning Labs and Home School Monday programs, which complement school group
and homeschool group visitations with hands-on learning. In the Spring Semester of 2016 alone,
over 2,500 students participated in a Learning Labs program while on a field trip to Cincinnati
Museum Center.
 Developed and led Learning Lab volunteer and staff training programs to ensure educators are
knowledgeable in content, learning styles, object-based presentations, and accurate
interpretation of exhibits.
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden
Nocturnal Adventure Guide: August 2014- Present
Zoo on the Move Instructor: June 2015- Present
 Deliver on and off site live animal encounter programs, addressing both small and large
audiences in a fun and engaging manner while maintaining safety for animals and participants.
 Led several state standards based environmental education overnight programs (Sleep with the
Manatees, Africa Predator Prowl, and Animal Adaptations) including live animal encounters,
games, Zoo hikes, and behind the scenes tours. Over the course of my time with CZBG, I taught
more than 50 programs, reaching over 1,000 students- not including parents or teachers.
 Certified animal handler (Tier 1 Advanced) on animals in the Interpretive Collection at CZBG.
Involved in weekly socialization of program animals. Skilled in public animal presentations and
demonstrations, including touch sessions.
Cincinnati Museum Center
Cincinnati History Museum Program Specialist: July 2015- February 2016
Museum of Natural History and Science Program Specialist: December 2013-July 2015
 Partnered with curatorial staff and the exhibit program coordinator to conduct research,
develop, and present credible programs about Cincinnati history, Cincinnati natural history and
STEM education that met state and national science standards.
 Researched, developed and implemented short term, biannually rotating program and exhibit
space in Pathways to Change gallery focusing on adaptation, migration, and hibernation
(Hibernation Station/Butterfly Way Station).
 Utilized both costumed and non-costumed interpretation while making history come alive for
guests.
 Coordinated logistics and presented in large events such as 1940’s weekend, Vintage Beauties:
Roaring ’20’s workshop, Batfest, Bugfest, Fossil Fest, Nano Days, and World Culture Fest.

Lead Visitor Experience Guide: February 2010- August 2010
 Accountable for excellence in customer service, ensuring positive guest experiences, and was
promoted to Lead after 3 months of employment.
 Directly involved in membership recruitment through proactive, in person marketing. Promoted
and actively sold memberships of all levels in person, over the phone, and through direct
mailing. Responsible for recruiting an average of 100 new memberships weekly.
 Attained proficiency in utilizing Raisers Edge and Patrons Edge software.

Zoo Atlanta Animal Nutrition Kitchen (Commissary)
November 2016-Present
Work with dietician to learn animal diets and food preparation, including washing produce, cleaning
utensils, dicing fruits and vegetables, measuring, weighing, and distributing dry and fresh food,
delivering hay, sweeping and mopping floors, and sifting crickets.
Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition Public Relations Chair
The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition (G.C.E.C.) is a community of not-for-profit organizations,
businesses, government agencies, and individuals from the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana tri-state region who
work cooperatively and actively to promote the beauty and environmental quality of the tri-state area.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Facilitated archaeological learning through hands on activities and demonstrations as designed by the
program coordinator, assisting Boy Scouts in earning their Archaeology Badges through practical field
technique demonstrations, instruction in cataloging and collections maintenance, and in teaching the
importance of Anthropology.

Kenwood Elementary, Bowling Green Ohio
Implemented lesson plans and assisted the educator in class operation as part of the early childhood
education program at Bowling Green State University. Interacted with teaching staff on a professional
level, attending all teacher and staff meetings, and parent/teacher conferences. Proctored standardized
test practice sessions in accordance to state laws. Assisted children with learning disabilities in daily
reading and problem solving exercises during separate class time.
